As the former Chief Judge and Justice of the Supreme Appellate Court of Gilgit Baltistan, my tenure was marked by the adjudication of over 560 cases, spanning a diverse array of legal matters including but not limited to service disputes, criminal, civil, property, contract cases, labour issues, minerals and mining, arbitration, and food safety. Conducted more than 800 criminal cases during my tenure as Chief Judge My commitment to justice extended beyond the courtroom through the initiation of Suo motu actions on critical human rights, social, and health issues. These actions aimed at ensuring the provision of essential services such as pure food and healthcare, the construction of infrastructure like roads, and the establishment of radio link centres to facilitate affordable communication in remote areas. Moreover, my leadership as the Chairman and head of Judicial Policy was instrumental in driving initiatives focused on delivering justice directly to the doorstep of the Gilgit Baltistan populace, embodying my dedication to serving and uplifting the community through the law.
